A registration form, photocopy of your ID, Firearms License, and deposit of 50% of the tuition

are due at least two weeks before the class starts. Student positions are limited, places are

held on a first come basis. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Requirements for Defensive firearms training classes are:

A message from the Instructor:

One of my true joys in life has been my time spent on a gun range. First with my father as he taught me the respect that all firearms require and how to correctly practice, then as a great way to meet some of the best people in the world, “shooters”. I have made some lifetime friends from attending responsible firearm shooting schools.

It is my hope that you will attend a class and see for yourself that a day of organized firearms training is better than a day of reading gun magazines and contemplating what you would do if your life is placed in jeopardy.

Let me give you the shooting skills and thought process needed to defend yourself and home from those who would plan to harm you or yours. My classes are small in participant size, so that each student gets the proper instruction time needed.

The Guardian Firearms Academy is training based in the use of firearms for defensive purposes. The range we will be using is located in Greencastle Indiana at the Jim Baugh Firearms Range.

Current Courses

NRA Basic Pistol Shooting - One day course

This is an entry level class that will teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. A certification

from this class will allow you to apply for several out-of-state carry permits. Handguns are provided.

Defensive Carry Pistol - Two day course

This class is for the shooter who is going to carry a pistol for personal protection. At the completion of this course, you will be better prepared to defend yourself and family with a pistol from your person or while in your home.

Defensive Rifle - One day course

This class is for those who have purchased a rifle want to know how it works and how to deploy it for personal protection.

Private Instruction

Call or email any request for individual, social groups, office groups, or family firearms instruction. Let me know what you are interested in and I can put together something that you and your group can benefit from.
